When the sun forgot to set...

Goa - one of the most picturesque of places on Earth. And there I was, after three days, with not a single photograph worth mentioning in a gathering of more than two. I could have blamed it on my handicap - thanks to a drunken ride that led to my face being introduced to the uneven road. I walked hopelessly across the beaches, feeling empty, and watching the sun as it sympathetically sank into the horizon. And along came a pretty British girl who decided to give a few guys thrice her age, a lesson in football.

The bottle that ended the wait...

Don't we all have a few pictures, certain frames, lined up in our heads even before we have seen them? The ones we wait for? Giving them time to happen? Patiently awaiting the picture to beckon, before actually capturing it? Well, this is one of them. It came to life four months after it was conceived.

I pray for thee...

Cemeteries have always fascinated me. It is probably the serenity. I have often gotten into trouble due to my untimely visits, as not many people understand this weird fascination. Some have even complained of nightmares after accompanying on my ventures. This angel however, looks incapable of turning any dream bad.

The demon guard...

Most people recognise this guy. Don't you? You will find him staring at you from shop windows to harmless doors across Karnataka. Millions of people sleep in peace under the assumption that this man keeps them from all kinds of intrusions evil. As you can see, even I had to dodge his line of sight before clicking.

Lincoln and the lamp

Bars are full of things waiting to be photographed. And I am not talking about the drunk fellas. I do not know whether it is the ever fascinating dim light or those intriguing things they manage to find to do up their walls with. In this case, it was an intoxicating combination of both.
